These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StarterFuel (the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("StarterFuel", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
StarterFuel helps founders start and run a company — including facilitating company formation, domain registration, banking referrals, and software tools with automated ("AI agent") assistance. StarterFuel is not a law firm, accounting firm, bank, or registered agent, and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Company formation filings are prepared and submitted to the relevant government registry either directly by StarterFuel or through a third-party formation or registered-agent partner; we do not act as a government filing authority.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate, current information and are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Paid services (formation packages, domains, add-ons) are billed to your saved payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy, and nothing is charged until you approve it. Government fees and third-party registration fees are non-refundable once a filing or registration has been submitted. If we are unable to complete a formation filing you paid for, we refund our service fee for that filing. Other fees are refundable only as described at the point of sale or as required by law.
By requesting a formation, you authorize StarterFuel (and, where applicable, its formation or registered-agent partner) to prepare and submit filings on your behalf using the information you provide, and to appoint a registered agent where one is required. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply and for your company's ongoing legal, tax, licensing, and compliance obligations after formation. Timelines depend on the relevant government registry and are estimates, not guarantees.
Banking options in the Service are referrals to independent, third-party financial institutions. We are not a bank and do not open, hold, or control any account. Each provider runs its own application and identity verification, and its own terms apply. We may receive a referral fee when you open an account through our link; this never changes the price you pay the provider.
The Service includes automated agents that draft messages, categorize transactions, plan and draft content, and prepare filings. These outputs are drafts for your review. Nothing is sent to a third party, published, filed, or charged without your approval. You are responsible for reviewing and for anything you approve. AI output can contain errors and is not professional advice.
You agree not to use the Service to break the law; to form entities or move funds for fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion; to infringe others' rights; or to abuse, probe, reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service. We may refuse, suspend, or remove activity that violates this section.
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by StarterFuel and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content and data you submit ("Your Content"), and you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any formation, registration, or filing will be accepted by a third party or government body.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarterFuel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold StarterFuel harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., fees owed, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-product or by email, and continued use after they take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer.
